The RBI Grade B DEPR exam consists of a three-phase selection process. It includes the following steps - 


Phase-I – The preliminary exam is a computer-based test. It is an online exam that contains 120 multiple-choice questions. The total mark is 200 marks. The exam has three sections - Writing Skills in English, Economic and Social Issues, and Quantitative Aptitude. 


Phase II – The phase II online exam has three papers. Paper I is for Economic and Social Issues. The second Paper is for English writing evaluation. The third Paper is for Finance and Management. Each paper carried a total of 100 marks. 


Phase III - Candidates must clear Phase II to get shortlisted for the Interview. It is the final step in the selection process. The Interview is for 50 marks but the selection happens on the basis of a combined score obtained in Phase II and Phase III.
